A Wedding Invite

I was very touched to be commissioned to design the invites for my friends wedding. The original is hand painted in gouache. I was especially pleased with the checked lettering.

Sheep Cushion

So I did this new charming chap for Field Work as well. Hand dyed and screen printed on silk. He can be all yours for £100, available here. I'm pretty pleased with the colours on this one, chances are I will never achieve that green again such is the way of colour discharge printing...

Love Token Handkerchiefs

I printed another edition of 10 hankies for Field Work in December and have just put the remaining stock up on etsy for £30 each. Perfect for Valentines eh!

Labours of Love

Field Work opens this Saturday and Rosie and I are mid way through set-up and everything is coming together. We put up some new paintings by Max Wade today which are looking especially beautiful. Doors open at 10am Saturday, we will have warming festive drinks and snacks from about 4pm till 7pm. We don't have a card machine so wads of cash or dust off your cheque books...

I have spent the past weeks, months, decorating eggs, cutting tin foil into tiny triangles to make 'glitter' and tinsel and drawing on crab shells and other such time consuming and perhaps pointless activities. Below are some sneak previews but you really ought to come to the shop to see them properly.

Field Work opens December 8th

Field Work, the pop up shop and gallery I co-curate with textile designer Rose de Borman, returns to 54 Rivington Street this December. I will be showcasing my collections of printed textiles and homewares as well as some new forays into painted eggs and other such endeavours. Alongside all this you can expect goods ranging from silky trouts to taxidermy, basketry kitchen utensils to hand knits, paintings to lacey ceramics, paper mache, jewellery, cushions galore and much more. We are having an opening on 8th December, please come and join us for some festive treats. The shop runs till 6pm 16th December so there is plenty of time to visit us.
